# Duration Limits

> Understand the duration limits for input videos and settings in CutPro

## The video you want to clip

### Minimum length

* **At least 1 minute** for the AI to be able to analyze it
* If you try anything shorter, you'll get an error

### Maximum duration per plan

The maximum video duration depends on your plan:

| Plan  | Maximum duration |
| ----- | ---------------- |
| Free  | 60 minutes       |
| Basic | 2 hours          |
| Plus  | 9 hours          |
| Pro   | 10 hours         |

## How to choose the range

In the clipper, you select exactly which part to process:

* **Minimum**: 1 minute
* **Maximum**: the whole video, up to your plan's limit and your available credits
* **Use the slider** to choose the start and end

**Example**: a 3-hour video → select only 1 hour → pay only 60 credits

## Size of the generated clips

Choose from the presets or configure your own:

* **Automatic**: Up to 90s (the AI decides)
* **Short**: Up to 30s (TikTok)
* **Medium**: 30-60s (Instagram)
* **Long**: 60-90s (YouTube)
* **Custom**: Between 10-90s

## How payment works

**1 credit = 1 minute** of video you choose to process

```
2-hour livestream + you select 30 minutes = 30 credits
Full 1-hour podcast = 60 credits
45-minute upload = 45 credits
```

## Practical tips

* **Don't process the entire video** if you don't need to
* **Focus on the best moments** to save credits
* **Test different clip durations** per platform

<Note>
  The system always checks that you selected at least 1 minute before processing.
