The number of clips depends mainly on the clipping strategy you choose and on the duration and quality of the source video. There’s no per-clip cost: you only pay for the minutes processed.

The strategy defines the result

The strategy tells the AI what to look for and how long each cut should be:
  • Ready-made strategies: tested settings, organized by content type. The fastest way to get started.
  • Custom strategy: you set the duration and give instructions (what to focus on, title style).
Start with a ready-made strategy to understand the system. Then create custom strategies for your niche.

Approximate amount per hour of video

StrategyClips per hour
Conservative5 to 10
Moderate10 to 15
Aggressive15 to 25
These are typical ranges. The actual result varies depending on the content.

What influences the amount

  • Segment duration: the more time you select, the more cut opportunities
  • Audio quality: clean audio with clear speech yields more usable moments
  • Content type: livestreams and podcasts tend to generate more cuts than short, static videos
  • Strategy configuration: shorter durations allow more cuts; specific instructions focus on certain moments

Examples by content type

Podcast (60 min)

8 to 12 clips of 30 to 60s: insights, funny moments, and quotes.

Gaming livestream (3h)

15 to 25 clips of 15 to 45s: plays, reactions, and epic fails.

Lesson (45 min)

6 to 10 clips of 45 to 90s: explanations and demonstrations.

Credits and clips are not the same thing

  • Credits measure the minutes processed (1 credit = 1 minute)
  • Clips are the result of the strategy, with no limit and no extra cost per clip
Example: processing 45 minutes costs 45 credits and can generate from 6 to 12 clips, depending on the strategy.
