Connecting your social accounts

With no account connected, CutPro just hands you the file — you download it and post by hand. Connecting authorizes CutPro to publish for you, and that's what unlocks scheduling and automatic publishing.

Which networks publish today

The distinction matters more than it looks:

Publishing now: TikTok, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, Bluesky and Car.Media.

Listed as "coming soon": YouTube, Threads, Facebook and Pinterest. They're on the list but don't publish yet — the integration is going through each platform's review.

Connect but never publish: Twitch and Kick. They're there so CutPro can follow your streams (see live monitoring), not to receive posts.

How to connect

In the connections area, pick the network and authorize on the platform itself. You sign in to your account on their site and approve the access — CutPro never asks for your password. That goes for every network, Bluesky included.

The exception is Car.Media, which has no authorization login: you paste the channel's access token, generated over in their partner dashboard.

What each network requires

Some connection errors aren't bugs, they're platform requirements:

Network	What it requires
Instagram	A Professional account (Creator or Business). Personal accounts can't publish via API.
Facebook	A Page. A personal profile alone won't do.
YouTube	A channel created on the account.
Bluesky	A confirmed email in order to upload video.
Pinterest	A board to receive the pin.

If an Instagram account was switched back to personal after being connected, publishing starts failing — the fix is to switch it back to Professional in the app and reconnect.

A note on TikTok

While CutPro's app is under review by TikTok, posts go out with privacy restricted to "Only me". That isn't a setting of yours and there's no way around it: it's TikTok's requirement for apps that haven't been approved yet. The screen warns you before you publish.

Limits by plan

How many accounts you can connect per network — and which networks are unlocked — depends on the plan. When a network shows as blocked, that's what it is: your current plan doesn't cover that connection. See what changes between the plans.

One useful exception: connecting Instagram and TikTok for championships is free on any plan, up to 3 accounts per network.

Why an account disconnects

Network authorizations expire on their own, and they also drop when you change your password, turn on a new verification step, or remove CutPro's access in the network's settings.

CutPro lists those accounts under Disconnected accounts, showing since when they've been down and — the number that matters — how many scheduled posts will fail if they stay that way. You also get an email, but only when the account is actually in use (something scheduled, or a post in the last 30 days).

Reconnecting means redoing the authorization. Nothing is lost: schedules, flows and history all stay.

If a post has already failed because of this, reconnecting won't resend it on its own — see a post failed to publish.
